Halloween can be an enjoyable and memorable night. It is some people’s favorite holiday and the one that gives them an excuse to dress up, explore their creative abilities, and watch some spooky movies or shows. But before you head out to step out in costume in the country this Halloween, consider these 17 things:
1) Look through an old photo album of your family’s history to find all your costumes from decades past.
2) Find an appropriate costume for the event you’re going to.
3) Re-watch movies like ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ and ‘Corpse Bride’ or TV shows like The ‘Addams Family’ to get more into the spirit.
4) Make a spider’s web out of toothpicks on a piece of wax paper and hang it outside your house while your family and friends walk by.
5) To decorate your house, Buy flowers from a local grocery store or florist shop. Also, tall vases and buckets work well.
6) Make a jack-o-lantern out of an actual pumpkin, or one made out of clay. Carve it extra special to remember Halloween 2022.

7) Make homemade decorations from old things around the house, such as photo frames, tin cans, and cookie cutters.
8) Get a lot of candles, place them in candle holders or empty wine bottles, and hang them around the house.
9) Get some aluminum foil jellyfish, put some tea lights in the bottom of an empty fish tank or bucket, and put the jellyfish on top.
10) Make costume jewelry out of new old stock beads you can find at any craft store and string them onto necklaces or bracelets.
11) Make a haunted house out of black construction paper and hang it up in your home with fake spiderwebs.
12) Make your Spotify playlists of spooky music, like Creepshow or The Twilight Zone, and have your family dance around the house to the music while you’re all in costume.
13) Find some old newspaper clippings, cut them out, and save them to look through for Halloween anniversaries.
14) If you are a kid, you may want to get together with the other kids in your neighborhood, dress up and play with each other.
15) Create a haunted house in your basement, attic, or garage. Make it scary by adding props, such as skeletons or natural plants that could be sharp and prickly.
16) Watch scary videos saved on your computer or iPad or even some classic TV episodes on Netflix.
17) Make a haunted house out of old boxes and chocolates. Watching other people’s reactions to the haunted house is fun.
